I am so excited to release this tool for you! I was working on my own RPG Maker MZ project when I came to a soul-searching conclusion that I am simply afraid of making decisions as they relate to IDs. I love to refactor and organize. It makes me feel like I'm in more control of my creative process. But RPG Maker is so rigid in that regard. Once "Potion" is item #5, it's #5 forever. If I copy/paste to move it around the database, then everywhere I've mentioned "item 5" needs to change. What a headache! This sort of thing kept me from progressing in my game.

It's kinda niche in that regard. Not everyone needs to be organized. One of my testers was asking what the point of the program is, LOL. It hadn't even occurred to me that anyone else wouldn't care!

But, I care. I made the program for me. And now I'm opening it up to the public.

It is a paid tool, however. I have spent weeks on this, making sure the program picks up every instance an ID is used. Including switch IDs in movement routes. It's been a headache LOL but I think it's in great shape now. That is why I put a price on it. PLUS, other tools that do the same thing as mine, are also paid.

I do have a note in the project's description that I did use AI. I want to be fully transparent there and not try to fool anyone (because I know there are so many paid plugins out there that are just AI slop). I'm hoping my passion for this project shows and that it isn't perceived as slop. I needed AI for the "rust" side of things (developed in Tauri and I had never used Rust before). And I also used AI to sort through JSON files to find the appropriate IDs for things (like the movement routes) that I wouldn't have been able to figure out myself without my eyes bleeding.

Anyway - I am working on the actual core of the tool now, reindexing. Because right now the app only does "search" - it doesn't do anything with what it found. I debated releasing the tool as it is now, without full functionality, and decided that yes, the "search" function is indeed helpful, for anyone who wants to use it. RM Finder is a tool that does this same thing. Linking that project here because it was a source of inspiration for me to make my own app.
